Medical device shellThere are many materials used in the manufacture and production of, such as ABS, PP, PE, stainless steel, carbon steel plastic spraying, etc. AB resin is a thermoplastic polymer material with high strength, good toughness and easy processing and molding. AB resin is often used to make the plastic shell of instruments because of its high strength, corrosion resistance and high temperature resistance.
PP is a high molecular polymer. Due to its regular structure and high crystallinity, the melting point can be as high as 167 ℃. Its outstanding advantages are heat resistance and corrosion resistance, and the product can be steam sterilized. The medical device shell made of this material does not have the problem of environmental stress cracking.
The main component of PVC is polyvinyl chloride polyvinylidene chloride, which has bright color, corrosion resistance, firmness and durability. Because some toxic auxiliary materials such as plasticizer and anti-aging agent are added in the manufacturing process to enhance its heat resistance, toughness and ductility, its products generally do not store food and drugs.
The manufacturing and sealing of the shell of medical devices shall prevent contact with live parts and parts that may be live and in a single fault state. The position or size of any hole on the top cover shall ensure that the test rod with a diameter of 4 mm and a length of 100 mm will not contact live parts when it is freely and vertically suspended in the hole for the whole length.
If the components with line voltage above AC 25V or DC 60V in the shell of the medical device cannot be disconnected from the power supply through the external main switch or the plug device that can be pulled out at any time, additional covers should be used for protection, so that contact can be prevented even after the shell of the medical device is opened, or when the spaces are separated and arranged, the "live" mark should be clearly marked.
The medical device shell that prevents contact with live parts can only be removed with tools, otherwise when opening or removing the medical device shell, these parts should be removed with automatic devices; The hole opened for adjusting these control devices shall be designed so that the adjusting tool cannot contact the basic insulation or any live parts, or any parts isolated from the power supply part of the grid only through the basic insulation but without grounding protection.
