Nowadays, there are many popular surface treatment methods for mobile phone shells, including metal and plastic. However, whether it is metal or plastic mobile phone shell, it needs secondary processing and various surface treatments after molding, which can not only prolong the service life of mobile phone shell, but also improve the aesthetics of mobile phone shell to a certain extent.
1、 Coating
1、Ncvm non conductive vacuum plating
Ncvm, also known as discontinuous coating technology or non-conductive electroplating technology, is to obtain the final appearance with metal texture without affecting the wireless communication transmission by using the characteristics of each discontinuous point with the coated metal, insulating compound and other films. The process of coating metallic materials on the surface of a substrate by vacuum evaporation. Coated metal targets are generally pure indium and other materials, which can ensure non conductivity.
Technical features:
(1) The products manufactured are non-conductive and can pass the high-voltage test of tens of thousands of volts of high-voltage ammeter. They are non-conductive and non breakdown.
(2) The surface of the product has metal texture, and translucent control can be achieved at the same time.
2、Ppvd deplating
After vacuum evaporation, protect the part of the coating that needs to be retained with the exposure film, and then remove part of the coating with the stripping solution. In this way, the retained coating will form different coating patterns. The pattern part can maintain different levels of metal texture, maintain the flatness of the product surface, and avoid bumps. This process is usually used for large flat battery covers.
Principle:
The principle that photosensitive ink can enhance ink adhesion after absorbing exposure energy is used to protect the pattern to be preserved. The ink that does not absorb light energy will be removed because it is not cured, and the pattern to be protected will be retained because the ink on the surface is cured, and then the ink on the surface of the pattern will be removed to obtain the required coating pattern.
3、Ion plating
Ion plating is to partially ionize the gas or evaporated substance through gas discharge under vacuum conditions, and then deposit the evaporated substance or its reactant on the surface of the substrate under the bombardment of gas ions or evaporated substance ions. The difference between ion plating and ordinary vacuum plating is that more ionized particles from gas discharge bombard the target.
2、 Epimembrane
1、IML in mold insert injection molding
IML (in molding label) injection molding is a molding method, in which the printed pattern film is put into the metal mold, and the molding resin is injected into the metal mold to combine with the film, so that the printed pattern film and the resin are combined and cured into the finished product. The surface is a hardened transparent film, the middle is a printed pattern layer, and the back is a plastic layer. Because the ink is clamped in the middle, the product can prevent the surface from being scratched, resist friction, and keep the color bright and not easy to fade for a long time.
Technical features:
IML products are characterized by high definition, good stereoscopic sense, scratch resistance, free change of design patterns, and enhanced aesthetic appearance of products, reflecting the advantages of special-shaped structure. They are widely used in mobile phone lens, mobile phone shell and other appearance products that need 3D modeling. It is suitable for 3D products, especially for consistent chromatic patterns, backlights, and multiple colors to be reflected on various surfaces, arcs, and slopes.
2、IMT
IMT combines the advantages of various decorative technologies, adopts the advantages of IML technology in film production, absorbs the advantages of IMR technology in in mold transfer, and combines digital printing and offset printing effects with traditional screen printing technology, making IMT technology highly applicable and widely used, bridging the limitations of traditional appearance decoration technology, and meeting the high-level innovation requirements of product appearance decoration.
IMT will drive the leap forward innovation of the product appearance industry, realize the three-dimensional, color gradient, R-angle and other irregular product appearance decoration effects, and provide a better innovation and platform for the appearance process design industry!
3、 Finishing (spraying)
Plastic spraying is mainly to apply a layer of plastic on metal equipment or parts, which has the functions of corrosion prevention, wear resistance, electrical insulation and so on. The raw material for spraying shall be spherical powder.
Process Description: it is a spraying method that disperses the paint into uniform and fine droplets through the spray gun with the help of pressure or centrifugal force, and applies them on the surface of the coated object.
Effect: coloring, different textures can be obtained, plastic aging prevention, corrosion resistance.
Plastic spraying process: annealing - degreasing - eliminating static electricity and dust - spraying - drying
4、 Mold etch
After the mold is coated with special resin glue for protection, the required pattern and texture are transferred with film, and then the mold is corroded with chemical solution.
Process of mold etching:
Film washing - mucous membrane - chemical inspection - surface treatment - printing treatment - chemical etching - surface treatment - QC - rust prevention treatment - packaging.
5、 Others
1、Radium carving
Radium carving, also known as laser carving or laser marking, is a surface treatment process based on optical principles, through which the product surface can be typed or patterned.
Radium carving is the principle of laser processing:
The high-intensity focused laser beam emitted by the laser is used to oxidize the material at the focus and thus treat it. The effect of marking is to expose the deep materials through the evaporation of the surface materials, or use light energy to make traces of the chemical and physical changes of the surface materials, or use light energy to burn some materials to carve traces, or use light energy to burn some materials to show the graphics and words that need to be etched.
2、screen printing
Screen printing: during printing, the ink is squeezed by the scraper and transferred to the substrate through the mesh of the image and text part, so as to form the same image and text as the original. Screen printing equipment is simple, easy to operate, printing, simple, low cost, strong adaptability.
3、Water transfer printing
Water transfer technology is a printing method that hydrolyzes transfer paper / plastic film with color patterns through polymers.
After special chemical treatment, the water transfer film is printed with the required color lines, and then sent to the water surface. Under the action of water pressure, the color lines and patterns are evenly transferred to the product surface. At this time, the film is automatically dissolved in water. After cleaning and drying, it is coated with a transparent protective coating. At this time, the product has shown different visual effects.
